While we’re not a dedicated breeder of Tennessee Walking horses, all of our horses are registered and we do have foals from time to time for sale.
Riding Lessons
We offer a variety of lessons for riders of all levels. We’re equally equipped provide training for you and your horse if needed.
Our Story
I was a little girl, who like many others, desperately wanted a pony. I was 6, and when I finally got my pony named Max, I fell off on multiple occasions.
My mom would dust me off with tears in my eyes and tell me assuredly that “If you fall off you have to just get right back on or he will think he has won”. A lifetime of falling of ponies, horses, jobs, relationships and idealism has been matched by a young girl who was not afraid to get back on.

Our Equine friends are an important part of the Top West family. They require constant love and attention, but give so much back in return. We invite you to get to know them and their individual personalities.
Drakkar
This big boy has spirit! He’s a stallion and he knows it, but deep down he’s a sweet boy that loves attention!
Bustin Loose
“Bus” is a beloved resident horse here at Top West Ranch. He’s well known for his big moves and cool attitude!
Matte & Drakkar
Matte (Mat-tie) and Drakkar are friendly stable mates. They like to go on walks along the river together.
